Last night I rushed home from work to make it to the town Halloween parade. One of our neighbors works with a local rescue and they had a few dogs up for adoption that they dressed up and put in the parade, and they encouraged all the dog owners in the neighborhood to dress up and bring their dogs that were former rescues. My boyfriend and I along with our dog were ninja turtles. My dog loves kids, and all the kids loved her. We walked in the parade and handed out candy. My nephew and a couple of my friend’s kids were there in the parade as well. It was a good time and a nice way to log a few miles while having fun. Only problem was that it resulted in me eating 2 bowls of cereal for dinner at 9:00 right before bed. Yep, that’s right. I did good calorie wise, just a bunch of weird food choices for the day.

Tonight I’m going with my sister to take my nephew trick or treating. It’s supposed to be pretty cold and then rain later, but hopefully not until after 9 so there should be plenty of time to get trick or treating in before it does.

Hope you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween night, and enjoy your weekends. Try not to eat too much candy!
