I've been dreading weighing in as I haven't had any exercise pretty much the entire month, outside of raking the yard when I can. I have an appointment with an orthopedist tomorrow, as the swelling is still noticeable and certain movements still hurt. I'm hoping he can suggest some exercises to get me back in the swing of things.
On a more positive note, I'm super excited for Halloween, and my costume is 90% complete. I just need to add the little details to my shoes and figure out my face paint. I'm stoked because I got the OK from work to not only dress up on Friday, but I can wear full face paint (which I didn't think they'd let me do because of security concerns), and then Saturday the boyfriend and I have a party to go to. I'll try to get some photos to post here ;)

Ooooh fun! I have had a super busy week but will try to throw something together between today and tomorrow night. I have a tinsel wig, some of that tinsel with the stars that hang down, and some tinsel wings... I think I will wear black and go as the North Star . . . I was originally thinking Asteria - the Greek Goddess of the stars, but, alas, it became clear no one would get it.

Love the idea of going as the North Star! I'll post pictures eventually, but I'm dressed (at work currently) in the Dia de Muerta style (I've got people I don't even know stopping by my cube, but it probably doesn't hurt that I sit right on the aisle xD )
