I kept saying over and over that I was going to get back on track again and then it just never happened. Instead, I continued on as I was doing, and in making a doctor’s appointment to check out something totally non-food and diet related, I find issues that have me on meds. Honestly tho I can’t say I’m surprised. Walking out of the office, I made a decision; I picked up my meds and said that’s enough and went shopping to pick up good, healthy foods I can eat and make meals out of.

Discussing it with my boyfriend was a huge relief and I gotta say I am the luckiest woman ever. Without skipping a beat, he said you know I can do all that with you...I don’t need to all the junk and stuff. I can eat healthy with you and we can go for walks, to help you along. All of it can trickle down to our kids...and sure enough the kids are in too. LOL not to say that there won’t be a complaint from them here or there when I make something they just don’t like but it’s a learning process for us all...and I’m glad to say I’m not doing it alone this time around.

So here I am a week after starting this all up again and gotta say I feel good about things!

Hope everyone is having a happy and blessed Monday! :)
