On The Diet Front
Thank you guys so much, I think I will try to continue with just fruits and vegetables at dinner time, as soon as I get back to the store to buy more. I don't feel deprived and didn't wake up starving. I actually haven't had breakfast and it is 12:30 already. I had a java monster that has as many points as a breakfast would so I am good until I eat lunch. I didn't have any meat, potatoes or bread last night with dinner which is awesome for me. I will just have to stock up on the vegetables so I can continue down that path.

Any ideas on a low point side dish to make for a cook out so I will have something I can eat. I am only going to eat fruit and vegetables unless I can come up with a low point side dish.

Keep Those Calories Burnin
I made it to the gym today for over an hour I feel great. I worked on the elliptical for 30 minutes and then lifted weights for 30 minutes and then sat in the sauna for 10 minutes. I felt so great and an accomplishment. I went on the elliptical for 30 minutes and wasn't even wore out, I could have gone longer. I think tomorrow I will go for 45 minutes and sit in the sauna for 15 minutes. Thursday I know I will not make it to the gym at all but I am hoping I will get some exercise in. I am going to try to walk the halls at the hospital as much as possible with two kids.

UPDATE: I took the kids to a friends house to jump on the trampoline and we jumped for almost an hour. I could feel it was a work out I wouldn't have guessed how many calories I burned for the fun we had. I am going to try to take Chelsea back tomorrow morning to jump again.

This Crazy Life
I don't know when wrestling practice is this week for Michael so if it is not tonight he will be missing that. I have to get the church cleaned tonight and tomorrow. Wednesday night Chelsea is having her Awards Ceremony with AWANAS. Thursday is the last day of school for Michael. His Awards Ceremony at school is Thursday morning and then right after that we are leaving to go to the doctor which is about 2 hours away. My mom is having muscle and nerve tests done on her back and has to have someone drive her. Thursday evening we are having the cookout for the Fire Fighters and I have to come home and make something to take for that. Friday my mom is going home, we are starting our garage sale again for the weekend.

Wow, I am tired just reading about your life! Congrats on your exercise today and your plan for tomorrow. What about a fruit salad side dish with lime juice as a "dressing"? I had something like that recently that was really good. Check out myrecipes.com for a good idea from Cooking Light.

Wow thanks a lot I will check it out, unfortunately our cook out was cancelled because of graduations that are going on. I was really looking forward to kickin back and relaxing for an evening. Ok I found a recipe but I now wonder how I would enter it into my food diary. It sounds really good with all the fruit and dressing and pound cake croutons.

You can enter the recipe in your cookbook and then add it from there. It's kind of a pain, but if you think you'll make it again and want an accurate cal count, it might be worth it. Or you could estimate how much of each indiv ingred you eat per serving. Great job on the fruits and veggies. I've been eating a lot of fruits and veggies lately (not today and I feel it. Blergh.) and I havne't felt deprived at all.

I LOVE Cooking Light. They have so many great recipes. I agree with Beets_Yum that it might be easiest to just enter a serving portion of individual foods. Or it should list the nutritional info on the recipe--you could figure out the WW points from that.
