I had the little breakdown since my 1 lb gain. But that was not my worse as my doc had not yet told me I had A severe case of Sleep apnea after my sleep study. They say i sleep maybe 9 min, but wake up 30-40 times a night! I had no idea why i was so tired fatigued all the time. So i will see my bariatric surgeon next week im goin to hv to do atkins this is the only way to lose the 15lbs he requires before my sleeve can be done. I liked the low calorie but i guess my body is not responding. So God bless you guys thanks for listening(reading). Thanks Sheila

Hang in there Sheila. I had the same sleep apnea diagnosis a few years back and decided to use a CPAP machine to sleep. That took some getting used to!! Anyway, I'd hate to sleep without it now. You can make it through this. Good luck on your sleeve procedure.

If I am not mistaken, Atkins works because it puts you in a calorie deficit, which you can do without Atkins and without starving yourself. Pleasec read nutrtion info on site I sent you previously. Atkins will require discipline... eating smart will not, and the results are real and lasting... you can do this my friend!

Doing a sleep study was the best thing I ever did. I have had trouble sleeping since I was 15. In October I was told I have Central Sleep Apnea (which has nothing to do with my weight). Anyway, it took me about 5 days to get used to machine. And OH MY! How much it has helped me. I never knew how much I wasn't sleeping. I don't go a night without it and even travel with it. Best of luck!

since losing almost 70 lbs, my wife does not punch me in the middle of the night and tell me to "roll over and quite snoring"... No more snoring!

I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! Don't give Up! I have a CPAP Machine and after 8 years I would. Never be without it. I follow a low-carb.diet now by the suggestion of my Dr. I find it very easy to use. Wishing you good luck. :-D
