Well just an update on yesterday, I ended the day jogging 6 blocks which felt wonderful. I was a little sore this morning and thought it was because of the running, but it was only on one thigh. Then this evening when I was changing into my lounge pants I realized I had a bruise on that thigh. I had helped move cattle panels yesterday and ran into the gate on our fence with my thigh and now have a bruise that is what hurt not my muscles from running so I think that is a big improvement from where I started. I jogged around the park during church with the kids today and will go for another jog in a little while before getting ready for bed. I am hoping this week I will be able to do week one of the couch to 5K program in one session. If not I will continue to split it up for a couple more weeks. My mom will be here all week this week so I don't know if we will even attempt to go swimming or wait til our first full week of summer to kick it off right. The kids should be starting swimming lessons soon as well. I am going to take advantage of Grandma being here and not getting to spend a lot of time with kids and try to leave them home while I go to the gym and get more time to workout at the gym without them.

On the diet front I don't think I have done as well as I had hoped but I am eating for the hand to mouth satisfaction from quitting smoking and from stress as well as eating the wrong stuff because my mom is here and is buying the bad snacks. My mom is a smoker so having someone in the house that is constantly going outside to smoke or smoking in the vehicle it has made it rough. John just got called out on a mutual aid call with the Fire Dept which is always a stressful situation because another fire dept is having a fire that they can not handle so our guys are going to help, and the call tonight was in gated community where some friends and his boss lives. To top it all off he didn't leave his pager so we can't listen to what is going on and know that everyone is safe. I just finished my fourth piece of 5 cheese garlic bread which is probably all my points right there for the day. Well I hope everyone has a better evening than mine.
