HCB's Journal, 05 October 2014

Greetings Buddies:

Wow, what a weekend! It seemed I just worked hard cleaning house, rearranging things, moving some furniture to vacuum, etc.

Then, I did a huge grocery trip to buy foods to pre-cook and freeze. My husband's sister and her spouse are coming in 10 days to visit us from New York.

The house is in good shape anyway but I wanted to get all the "company" laundry ready, and cook some Italian tomato sauce so I can just defrost and simmer when they are here instead of being stuck in the kitchen!

Workouts are going well - the 30 Day Challenge ends in October 14 and I WILL end up with enough points to enter the drawing for the money prize. My trainer said it looks like some people have bailed, so there will be fewer people in the drawing!

And, I finally got some Ezekial 4:9 Sesame whole grain bread to try out. I want to see if I can have a slice from time to time without it setting off the carb monster!

The word of the week is
FORGIVENESS.

I am dedicated, determined, and diligent.

Good job on the Challenge! I like the idea of freezing the sauce so you can simmer it when the guests arrive. Good thinkin!

Nothing like having company to get the house clean, right?

Bet you burned tons of calories getting the house all ready! That's the only way we really get it cleaned up much is for guests/events.
