its great for when you don't want to use the scale and sometimes the scale will not show progress but your body measurements goes down. also if you want to know your Fat % its also great.

Oh I see...thanks for the advice :)...hmm well I already know my BF% so if that's the only thing they do, I think I will pass

the BF reading you get from a scale or a machine is totally diff from the one taken properly by a professional, they also measure ur overall health and fitness level and usually give you a eating plan and work out based on ur goals......if its cheap go for it if its not then pass lol

I agree with Ibiza... I went for an assessment also, and it also brought everything into perspective for me. It really helps (well it did for me) to have someone else just confirming that I am not where I should be with my relationship with food and the state of my body and gave me a much needed reality check. :-)

Forgot to say, I did mine at the gym - at Virgin Active. I asked one of the trainers to help me with it.

I went at Hatfield Virgin Active and just saw a personal trainer there. He was very helpful and did took my weight, cm's and body fat %. So I think maby you can visit any Virgin Active and just find out if there is a trainer that will help you with the measuring?
