My husband is being a Dick today. Im a little off about it. would really like to blow my stack at him and tell him all the things HE does wrong just to show him how it feels to be constantly reminded of your flaws...but cooler heads prevail. I just walked away and went to work. but id rather have punched him.

Good move on your part. Stress and conflict does raise cortisol and does cause an increase in blood sugar and an insulin response to cover. Many of us store fat as a result, not to mention all the other negatives. Maybe do some high intensity short burst exercise to burn off the cortisol and let off steam. Kill two birds with one stone, so-to-speak.

Good job for the control!! I was reading somewhere that women tend to be the 'conflict resolvers' in relationships, in the sense that they are the ones who are able to walk away and cool down the argument (which I totally don't think it's fair, throwing all that responsibility on us). But men can be dicks sometimes!
