Woke up this morning feeling super tired. Tried to get up an hour earlier to get some exercise in but just could not get up even though I got a full 8 hours of sleep. I seem to keep dwelling on the weight I was when I met my my fiancée. When we started going together I was 138 pounds, running 7 km a night and working out 4 days a week for 3 hours. Now I can't seem to get the motivation that I need to get moving. We both have gained our share of weight. I recently quit smoking cold turkey 40 days ago today, after smoking for 12 years. I figure if I can do that then I can shed this 65 pounds. What is with the motivation though, I have all the tools I need but no MOTIVATION.

That's what WE'RE here for! To HELP you get motivated! And you're darn tootin'....if you can quit smoking cold turkey, after 12 years, then you WILL be able to lose that weight too! We're all tryin' to lose SOMETHIN' and GAIN motivation and inspiration. That's what your buddy list is for! Make some friends with similar goals, similar lives, similar weight, or even similar difficulties. Just make some friends who you can count on to push you, encourage you, support you, and advise you on here. It really and truly helps (at least that's what I'M finding out!) 65 pounds?! YOU'VE GOT THIS!!! Just start movin' and groovin'. The hard part is starting....but once you get goin' and get push yourself to do it several times a week, it'll be a piece of cake. You'll find that you actually WANT to work out. If you want it that badly, you'll get it! Just keep logging in here and counting calories and most importaly....MOVING....and you'll be there in no time!!! Best of luck! :) (Though I know you won't need it!)
