I felt the same way you did about 6 weeks ago...completely disgusted with my inability to control my eating habits. Then, I decided to try low carb dieting and the weight seems to just fall off. I have lost 18 pounds in 6 weeks. I am not hungry and I do not crave carb laden foods at all. I don't know how long I will be able to do this but I have 20 lbs to go yet and I'm hopeful that I can maintain this lifestyle to a certain degree for a long time. If you would like any support from me, let me know. :) Hang in there. You can do it. It's starting that is the hardest.

It's difficult to break the carb addiction. The key for me was having the low carb foods available and prepared ahead of time. When I would have a carb craving I would eat something on plan. For me it was more important to keep the carbs low than count calories. Once I got over the hurdle I no longer crave carb laden foods. The other key is to rid yourself of trigger foods if possible to prevent carb binges. And remember all of us here have gone or are going through our struggles and are here to support one another.
