Because not all weight loss is measured in pounds I am posting my measurements so I can measure myself on the weeks that I do not drop pounds. A pound is 16 ounces,no matter what it is made of, but, a pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat. I am planning to start an exercise regimen and as I tone and increase muscle mass it will slow down the scale. This is my alternative monitor point. If I fail to lose pounds or gain any in a weigh-in I will post my previous and current measurements. If there is no change in those we will write it off as a stall and keep on track till the next one. There is no throwing in the towel at this point, I am not getting younger and it's harder to lose as you age. I expect this journey to take me approximately two years then maintenance for life. Hope you guys stick with me for this ride, it should be fun!

Neck - 18.5 inches
Bust - 54 inches
Waist - 46 inches
Hips - 58 inches
Upper Arms - 16 inches (each)
Thighs - 32 inches (each)
Knees - 24 inches (each)

Wow! OK those are scary measurements each one of my legs could be a person! Nice to see that I still have that coke bottle figure, it's just super-sized right now! LOL If you can't laugh at yourself you will end up being a very unhappy person :) I will not be stepping on the scale daily, once a week is my goal. I tend to get obsessed with the scale and right now it is hiding under my treadmill. If I get the urge to step on the scale before my weigh in date, I am going to walk a mile instead, no sense wasting the walk to the laundry room....which is also my gym :)
