tempest_spirit's Journal, 22 September 2014

My activity declined over the last couple of weeks. I've been running so crazy with Dr. Appointments and Therapies for my kiddos, I'm pretty well exhausted, and all I want to do is play on the IPad when I get home. I also haven't been as vigilant on food choices. Hubby is making comfort food, and funds have been limited to by the extra little stuff for myself.

I spent all day Saturday getting my house cleaned. Can't stand the clutter anymore, and the kids have not been doing their chores as they're supposed to, so it needed to be mom cleaned instead of just kid cleaned. It's better, but I still have issues with the kiddos picking up after themselves and getting chores done.

We're running out of nice weather days, so despite fatigue I made myself go for a bike ride yesterday. I enjoyed it of course, but had to cheer myself on the whole way through it. I managed to make it up a couple of hills I would normally walk, although I did so rather slowly.

Today, I need to buckle down and go for a walk when I get home. I miss it terribly. Stress is still high. The developmental pediatrician is concerned my Special Needs daughter may be suffering depression, given some of the behaviors we've seen lately. Of all the things she could inherit from me, that is one I hope she misses. Time will tell. All we can do is watch, test, rule out, and treat.
