2nd Entry of the Day -

PROGRESS ALREADY: So last week (Sept 8th) I did my first attempt at working up to a "1,000 Rep" workout. That day, I did 3 rounds of 10 different moves in 30 minutes...today I pushed it and completed 4 rounds in 27:07. Phew! I'm gassed!

Although I'll not ever be able to complete the 1,000 reps on one of my lunch hours, I hope to make it through 5-6 rounds in 30-40 minutes and then start working at completing all 10 rounds on a weekend. I've also been increasing the weight I've been using on these rounds. It's going to take a while, but a fun way to gauge progress...and a goal to work toward.

Hubby comes home tonight! It will be nice to have him back. One of the activities we like to do together in the evenings is to sit and watch TV shows on dvd (we don't have cable or satellite...and really crappy antenna reception). Big Bang Theory finally came out on dvd this week so we'll maybe get the chance to catch up on season 7. It's one of my favorite shows to watch with him because he has one of those contagious laughs...I find I laugh more at his laughing than I do about anything Sheldon says/does.

I'm a giant nerd (hence the DNA double-helix tattoo around my bicep) so I adore The Big Bang Theory. Outstanding job at the gym! A thousand reps sounds daunting!

Awww... same situation here - no cable but I do have internet so I watch 'tv' on DVD's or Netflix/Amazon. Some people ask 'how can you live without live TV' and I just shrug and say 'there are literally thousands of options at any given time on those two. If I can't find something there, I need to get up and do something else.' I am watching DVD's of Will & Grace. Cutty hated that show so we never watched it. I am addicted to Karen.

I gave cable the boot 6 years ago and never looked back! I have Netflix and Hulu Plus, for which I spend a grand total of... $16 a month. I have more content at my fingertips than I could ever possibly watch. Best decision ever!

Cable. Yeah, not for about 5 years. Satellite. Can't see them through the trees. (Yes, I still have that many.) Netflix. Yep. All I need. I get stuff done instead of watching TV. Let's face it. It's chewing gum for the eyes.

I'm switching thanks to Bella and Chris. Set up my roku on one TV tonite, the other still had satellite going for some reason. They only shut one receiver off. Odd. ! Will get Hulu and net flicks set up sat or sun. Didn't get far enough was perusing to Roku site to see what is available for no charge. Will be an interesting learning experience.
