Good morning buddies!

I kicked butt yesterday! Forty-five minutes on the elliptical followed by a kettle bell workout at home. Nutritionally I have been on point as well, so I'm proud of my progress in that department. The weight is coming down slower than I'd like, but as long as we're heading down I won't complain. It sucks because the rate of loss tells me that I'm losing real fat pounds, not water weight... which means I put back on some fat pounds (about 5) in the last couple months, and that's no good. I will be happier once I get below 175, which is my all time low. I mean I'm not really beating myself up because it is what it is, but ya know. (I know you know) I will officially weigh in tomorrow. What did I expect though... you are what you eat, and I was eating junk. Apparently it happens to the best of us, because I'm the best and it happened to me. bahahahaha :)

SoOoOo, on to today. I am going to take a break from the elliptical and kettle bells, and instead go on a long bike ride. A nice little break for my body to recover from the intensity but still a good cardio workout. It will be a lot quicker than it was when I went with my friend because I won't have to stop for breaks every fifteen minutes (lol). Should be about 9 miles, I will turn on my tracker to find out for sure. Afterwards It will be the usual, cleaning, studying, dinner then class. Glad tomorrow is Friday!

Have a wonderful day, guys!

Alright Yolanda! I like your determination and the analysis of your current situation. I am so happy that things have been going well for you. Don’t consider the extra weight added as a failure of any kind. What you did was an experiment. (eating junk food) You gained weight. Now you know what happens! Experiment over, back to the grind! Keep up the great work. You’re always an inspiration to all of us.

Sounds like you are back on track. Your body needs a day between to recover. I'd be that friend stopping every few minutes!! I really need to start using my bike, it's currently wasted $$$. Enjoy your ride!

Thank you everyone! The bike ride was seven miles, and I don't know why on earth I thought it would be a break. It kicked my ass lol. It took me one hour, heart rate was definitely elevated so it should have been a good burn. (lots of hills, tough terrain etc.) Thanks again for all of the support!!

I like how you are so aware! Way to Go! and, changing workout routines is a very good thing, so I love the switch to a bike ride idea! Good one! :) With your focus like it is, and awareness of what you are doing, paying close attention to what works and what doesn't, You are ON Track!. :)
