Officially broke the 200 lbs mark today! Been putting off an official weigh in since I had to fast 2 days last week, followed by a colonoscopy "sytem flush". Home scale was reading as low as 195 after that flush, but I knew it was a false reading with an "empty tank". It has taken a few days for my system to come back online, but I think I am there. Also, I am switching to using my home scale as my new official scale. The balance beam scale at the gym got dropped or something and is way off now. My home scale is a Taylor Professional spring dial scale... supposed to be medical grade. I have a technique for calibrating it before each use. I place a 20 lb kettle ball on it, then zero the needle, then check it 2 or 3 times with the kettle ball to ensure it reads 20 lbs... then I get on. This method should get me consistent results and measure progress, regardless.

190 lbs has been my target all along... I never made mini-goals,as I knew this was going to be a slow and steady process... no quick fixes to 20+ years of dietary abuse. 190 was my marriage weight and seemed like a good goal. I may set my sights on something lower after 190, but for now I am content knowing that I am more fit and healthy than I was 22 years ago!
199.0 lb Lost so far: 61.0 lb.    Still to go: 9.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
