So... I'm starting a mini challenge tomorrow where I don't stand on a scale for 2 (scary) weeks. My birthday is in 2 weeks so this will be interesting...
I'm sure this will be beneficial in the end, seeing as though I've been pretty obsessive of the scale since I've started. I know I'm not supposed to be, but I'm an anxious person, what can I say. So I'm starting the challenge early. No weigh-in for me. I feel weird about it already...

Oh oh, me and and socolova have a mini challenge that ends on my Bday, Sep 30th. Sounds like I may of found a 3rd.

Brave brave soul! I know I would not be able to do it.. my scales are my "what in the heck am I doing wrong, or right" measuring stick.. good luck...lol...

Stepping on my scales everyday gives me what I need to change my day or know that I did good yesterday.

I just managed a full month. I think if I had been obsessing about my weight my fat loss would have suffered. I was sitting around 130 kg for a while then I decided to use a body composition analysis machine. It has foot pads and handles and uses bioelectric feedback to measure fat, muscle, water and other (dry mass). My weight is up but my fat mass is down 3.3 kg. Not quite the 1 per week I was hoping for but with the added muscle it translates into a 4.2% decrease in my body fat. I'll take it! So giving up weighing in and focusing on eating 'clean' and getting in good quality exercise is a really good idea you have made a great choice!
