After going to bed last night feeling waves of sickness, headache and chills, this morning I am still am not back to normal. I have been doing ok on Atkin's but really attribute my weight loss to starting Zumba. Seems like regardless of what type of diet I am on, as long as I exercise I can lose the weight. Therefore, I am going for a general healthy diet rather than low carb/low fat/ low whatever. Just going to stick with fish, chicken, veggies, fruits, whole grains. I know there is sugar in everything so that needs to be monitored but I don't see how God created foods that are not good for you to eat! To not be able to enjoy things like bananas or carrots is a shame! I think Atkin's works and see the benefits of it but I also see the benefits of natural foods like sweet potatoes. I may gain before I lose again but will stick with my Zumba workout and see what happens. I feel sick due to lack of fiber and so I just ate an english muffin and am enjoying a glass of milk! For those sticking with Atkin's - good luck and I hope it works great for you!
