Bought a pair of trousers for when I started this job almost a year ago. Didn't fit then, never been able to wear them. They're a bit tight but I can fasten them now.

Awesome - isn't that a great feeling! You will be wearing them comfortably soon!

Thanks, yeah it is :) I've got a couple of other pairs of jeans and a few shirts that I've never been comfortable wearing and I'm almost there... A couple of months ago I was so limited on what I have that I could actually wear, couldn't bear to be buying the next size up again, now I've got a lot more choice.

It can happen :) The thing that's always irritated me most about trying to lose weight is we all know what to do and what not to do, it's just the determination that I've struggled with over anything. It's a tough one, it's positive to set yourself goals but for me at least it can be tempting to beat yourself up if you don't quite achieve those goals in the time you wanted to. Whether it's a case of two steps forward and one step back, or only losing 8lb in when you wanted to lose 10lb - it's progress. A drop in profits is not a loss :)
