Deb_N's Journal, 29 August 2014

Now I remember why 150 lbs was a mini goal for me! That is the weight that I wrote down when I renewed my driver's license. It was just a guess because I did not weigh myself in those days. Now that I am below 150 lbs I feel awesome! :)

January - 3677 steps - approximately 1.75 miles a day
February - 5187 steps - approximately 2.5 miles a day

LOL. I used to put 135 on my license no matter what.

I had 175 on my driver's license... I weighed 206 when I had it renewed. Now I weigh less than my driver's license says I do. I just read your profile and how well you're doing. Keep it up, you're doing GREAT!

Thank you, everyone. If I don't eat right and walk every day, I will gain weight and get diabetic again. I am going to be here, even if I don't weigh in every day. I will always support you. Well, I might vacation with no internet, but I would come back and see how you are all doing. We are in this together! :)

In Texas they don't have weight on driver licenses or I would by lying right along with everyone else.

Last year I started walking an average of 2000 steps a day or 1 mile. This year I have been walking an average of 3000 steps a day or 1.5 miles.

Is that your total for your day or in addition to your regular routine?

Jeri, it was my average daily steps/mileage. I edited my journal so you can see it. August was low because of the heat. January and February were higher because I was trying to impress my doctor and it worked. :)

In high school, on my very first driver's license I wrote 125 lbs, even though I knew I was 130 lbs. I don't want to say that I lied, just that I had hope to lose the weight. lol

Fab :-) I agree about the walking. We have a new puppy and my walking has increased in addition my weight has decreased. Win win for both of us :) Happy Losing. .....

I noticed on my last driver's license renewal that weight wasn't listed. Guess they caught on that usually everyone lies about their weight. I am no exception :) None of their business, it can change drastically from renewal to renewal. Two things you should never ask a woman and expect the truth...

They don't list weights on licenses in my state, but if I recall correctly, my goal weight is what I told them last time they asked at renewal.
