My back fat went away almost completely since I started losing weight. The more you lose the less back fat you'll have. I don't think that's an area that you can exercise fat off just like the stomach. Only losing weight will help. I'm still doing back exercises because that's important to prevent back pain.

Congratulations! Note that there is no exercise to "spot reduce" fat... you can do all the situps and crunchs in the world, and you won't burn fat from the stomach. The body will burn the fat when you set the conditions for it to burn fat, and it will take it from whatever location it sees fit... your's seems to prefer the back first! Keep up the good work!

If you can grab a hand full of fat anywhere on your core, I'd be surprised. Most likely it is a bit of excess skin with only a small amount of tissue/fat. The body will get rid of the extra skin, it just takes time. Your diet, exercise, and stretching/yoga will take care of it. Wishing you continued success in your body-sculpting journey!!!!
