br_oss's Journal, 03 May 2009

I've been away for about 6 days, housesitting for my parents. I have been checking in but not much as in the previous weeks. I still maintained a pretty good eating pattern, though less exercise. Went to the gym yesterday and today. In all of my previous gym scale experiences, the scale at the gym always added on more pounds. However, (I've just joined this gym) I tried their scale today, before working out and I'm actually 3.6 lbs lighter than what my home scale send 30 minutes before. So I'm thinking that there's something wrong with my scale. The gym has one of those expensive scales and it was on zero before I got on... So I'm going with the gym scale weight!

I guess I can celebrate being lighter than I thought I was! Just goes to show that we shouldn't put too much emphasis on what the scale says!
185.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 35.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

The best gauge for how we are doing is how our bodies feel, how our clothes feel, if we feel thinner. My doctors scale weighs heavier, I may switch to your doctor. LOL
