At least my weight is going down! I read that it is hard to lose fat and build muscle at the same time; but it is possible! I am doing it now! I can't wait for training session #2!
156.4 lb Lost so far: 81.6 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I can tell just from your journal that you are absolutely going to reach your goals. You are a strong minded, strong willed person and that will be an advantage for you. You are ALL over this! What it is hard to do is lose weight on the scale while building muscle, since you are burning lighter fat and replacing it with heavier muscle. A lot of threads touch on the concept I am about to reiterate here, and that concept is that this is about health. Weight loss is a byproduct. Better nutritional habits. better exercise habits, better cardio-vascular health, better muscle tone... all adds up to a healthier you and you will see the results manifested in a leaner, stronger body. You will get to your goals. No doubt in my mind.
