so about my challenge for today:
I didn't get to do morning walk!
i've had 2 of3 liters of water so far
not quite at 8 cups of veggies, but it's making my carb count very high! even without starches i'm almost at 100 right now! I like to stay under 100 for carbs! I did have 1/2 slice of pizza today when I took my kids out . .. .
oh and i haven't had dinner yet. i think if i concentrate i really need to stick to 4 main meals: eggs, chicken, fish, fage
any interesting fage ideas out there?

I like to use Greek yogurt for savory dishes, like sour cream for tacos and I sometimes will mix it with tuna (weird, I know). You can make a dipping sauce for vegetables or in place of creamy sauces you can use it instead of milk/cream/etc.

so I met my challenge with 3 liters of water and I think I even hit about 8 cups of veggies. i don't like how my protein and carbs are about even yesterday; i did have 1/2 slice of pizza but it's mostly from veggies. . .. i have my first official session with trainer tomorrow! 1st one was a freebie! i need to stop eating these sliced turkey packs! it's the junkiest food i eat, and i have it when it's late night and i think of it as protein but it's got a lot of garbage in it now that i'm looking at it carefully!!! lots of sodium and it's very processed . .. . anyway; i'm going to try to get good sleep tonight! off to bed!

^ I agree that tzatziki sauce made with plain yogurt is good. Sometimes I don't have cucumbers so I just add dill weed or mint flakes. Tonight I added 2 Tablespoons of sauerkraut to my plain yogurt with dill weed. Very interesting flavor! Not sure if anyone else would like it. lol

Don't obsess about the carbs in vegetables. Obsess with the carbs in bread, potatoes, rice and pasta. Those are complex carbs. You need to consider simple carbs vs complex carbs. Don't eat sugar packets, obviously. The carbs you get from veggies are balanced by the fiber you get from the veggies. So many people think carbs immediately turn into a thick roll of fat around your waistline and it is not that simple. Some research may be in order here to get the whole truth and not partial truth about carbohydrates.

Hi Eddie, thanks, I don't eat bread potatoes rice or pasta or sugar or artificial sugar soda diet soda drinks sweety potatoes squah or more than 2 fruits per day.
