Spent the morning in Reed City checking out the house we just got back. Last year we leased it with an option to buy to a nice couple. They were not able to get financing so they found a different house and purchased it on land contract without telling us until the deal was done. It is a shame, because we would have worked with them on it since we found them to be very responsible. So now we have the house back and need to put it on the market. I walked around and made a list of things to do - not too long, but a bummer just the same.

After working on the RC house GoodMan and I went to lunch at our favorite Chinese restaurant. We really miss that place now that we are 1/2 hour away. We split an order of egg foo young so I hope it doesn't mess with my food plan too much. GoodMan is really trying to be supportive. I finally told him what my starting weight was since I figure I will be telling him how much I lose and what my goal weight is...he's a smart man, he'd have figured it out...but my stomach got queasy when I saw the reaction on his face. He tried not to show it, but I could tell he didn't realize I'd gotten over 250lbs.

I ordered a new exercise bike. I have one, but when DS#6 brought it in for me I realized it didn't survive the move very well. Before our move it had sat unused for a number of years so it isn't a shock. I thought about making the new one a reward for reaching a certain number on the scale or after reaching a milestone, but Goodman (logical thinker that he is) convinced me the bike should come first, making reaching those goals more attainable. That man may not be mushy...but he is loveable!
