Eight hours of solid sleep with no wide awake episodes. Eight minutes first thing in the morning on the Sunny Air Walk Trainer to burn off glycogen. High of 87 today but humidity isn't too bad. I hope rain will help clear it out.
Omron body fat monitor: 25.5, BMI: 19.3.
Today is a down day (500 calories) and a strength training day. I put Fat Gripz on the two five-pound dumbbell bars. It was snug and it took a while, but despite my trepidations, they fit. I hope incorporating Fat Gripz into my dumbbell lifting program will improve my grip and forearm strength. It's not going to be practical to wrestle them on and off the Air Walk Trainer and onto the dumbbells, so I bought another pair. Since the Fat Gripz don't fit the C9 by Champion six and eight pound dumbbells, I put them on Freecycle and someone should pick them up tomorrow.
Strength training: 45 minutes of the whole body dumbbell conditioning program with Fat Gripz on five-pound dumbbell bars, three sets of ten reps. Cardio: 50 minutes on the Air Walk Trainer, 1118 steps.
I'm thinking about making Friday and Saturday both down days because otherwise Saturday is an up day and Sunday is a cheat day (for all intents and purposes, an up day) back-to-back, which I believe is slowing down my weight loss.
