OK; I am not good at high cal / lo cal days. I've figured out how to do the low, but as soon as I try to go high it goes out of control. I get more hungry and yesterday we had guests over, with a big BBQ and the main problem was I ate a bit too much and I am having gluten once a week and I think I just had too much of it . . . .
On a better note, I met with the trainer today for my free session, and it was great. I bought a training package and I think we are going to make good progress together. He blew my mind away with the exercises and his systematic approach and attention to detail. And we share the same birthday. But he is very very young . . . .
My sis is here till tomorrow and they are having a pizza night! I'll have to skip that and save room for a nice big salad!!!
Till later friends!

Wow! You've had a busy and full few days. Be gentle with yourself. The belly may just need a little love and acceptance. And, who looks at your belly in downward dog, anyway? ;-) Hope your baby's eyes get better, that you enjoy the last day with your sis and that food becomes ancillary to all the love that seems to be flowing around you right now.

You shouldn't look at your stomach in a downward dog position! Gravity can't be helping anything at that angle. Except maybe your boobs.. then downward dog and gravity may be helpful. Focus on the positives not the negatives. Plus you can go downward dog without falling over sideways so kudos! Hope everything works out with your new young trainer. Who knows.. if there is eye candy there it could be motivating! Hope everything else goes well.

Have fun with your sister! It's being together that is the important thing, not what you will be eating! Everyone has the right to eat what is healthy for them. Your kids will learn from you what foods are healthy, and that the not so healthy things are only for special occasions. :)

That's great that you have a personal trainer. I wish you the best of luck with your fitness! Sometimes it IS easier to be strict rather than easy-going with food. It can get out of hand for me too. I try to keep my calories steady. I burn about the same amount of calories every day, so my body requires about the same amount of calories a day. It's just easier for me to be consistent. Enjoy your big salad! :)
