Deb_N's Journal, 18 August 2014

Unfortunately, I had no weight loss when I weighed in this morning. My comfort is knowing that there is always tomorrow, and that I have the support, comments and private messages from all of you. I'm sure we can do this. Just don't stress too much and keep moving!

Great Attitude Deb! You're "KILLING IT" anyway! What an impressive trend line you have on your weight history! WOW! Keep doing whatever you've been doing, and it will come! :) Thanks for your words of encouragement after my surgery! I'm feeling a bit better every day! :)

No gain is always good news. Keep chipping away and it will all add up.

You're still way ahead of the game!

These are the times when I say "the scale is teasing me". Sometimes it seems the body will take a little time to rest before beginning the hard work of shedding weight. Then, in a little while, the body will release weight again. Good luck. J

You are doing great! Just one day of a slight stall won't hold you back! It will drop quickly. I have confidence in you!

We're always going to have days where the scale doesn't move - and hopefully even fewer where it moves in the wrong direction - but your big picture is incredible!

Great insight...I think I'll borrow it!

Deb you have done so great up till now and a 0 weight loss is good, because it has not gone up and that is the main thing...you know you are going to have another loss just not today.....perhaps your body is resting, which we all know it needs that sometimes, at least I know mine does now and again...I feel it...LOL You are an inspiration, and have proven that weight loss can be done..I admire your hard work, devotion and good spirit...you make us want to move forward with our journey..... Get ready to see a drop next weigh in!!!!..:)

Don't let the numbers discourage you. Plateaus are usually the times you find your clothes fit more loosely. Although you don't see it on the scale, your body is "rearranging" itself to the new weight. You'll start to lose weight again, just give it time.

At least we all know you are human now, Deb! xoxo

LOL! I am human. Yes I am! I want to sit in my computer chair after dinner, but my knee starts to hurt after sitting for an hour. I need to walk around every half hour to get my calorie BURN. Human. lol

Any day that there's not a gain is a good day! Keep up the fight :o)

Deb, I'm curious about your knee pain. I can't sit for long either. My whole body gets stiff and painful. Did you have an injury in the past?
19 Aug 14 by member: ChristyLA
I fell off my brother's skateboard a few times when I was young. Other than that, I don't remember any knee injury. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. My doctor said take 1000 mg acetaminophen 30-60 minutes before I walk. After losing weight, it does not bother me very much. I am able to walk/run now. Sitting makes it hurt.
