Sherillynn's Journal, 20 March 2011

In some ways today was a bit frustrating and in others, it was wonderful. Started my day out at church with my husband and my mother-in-law. It was wonderful service and the worship music was amazing. I was so pleased that Jeff came with me. Its those little things in life that make your bond stronger with your mate.

After church, however, I just seem to have lost all of my energy. Since I slept the day away yesterday, I thought I would feel energized today but it just didn't happen. Tomorrow is back to work so I have essentially just wasted two days off recovering from all the rest of my busy work week. Working twelve hour shifts in my 40s sure isn't like it was when I was in my 20s. YIKS!

I have been staying with the program though and I am so thankful for my fatsecret friends. This website has been a Godsend. It is encouraging to look at what others are doing at any hour of the day or night and to get that boost of encouragement. I have already succeeded longer at this than the last several times I thought I was going to change my diet and lifestyle. Thanks to all for their support.

I'm so glad you had a lovely and inspirational Sunday morning with your family. Give yourself a little time for your body to adjust to your diet and your work schedule. Sometimes we need to listen to our bodies and get a little extra rest. Have a good week! You are doing doing very well.

Sheryll, I had a day like that also. Got up, went to church, came home, ate a bite of lunch, laid down, just dozed off and my son, niece, and nephew showed up, so got up, showed them the rabbits, then came in and laid back down and took an hour and forty minute nap. Was still tired when I got up, so took a 2 mile walk, in the hopes that it would get the juices flowing! lol It work a bit. :) Hope you have a fantastic week. You are doing super!
