150.5 lb Lost so far: 27.5 lb.    Still to go: 5.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think your body got use to the small amount of calories it got for months and now that you eat the double amount of cals you're gaining weight. It will get worse until it gets better. After a while when your body sees that it's getting more nourishment it will not hold onto everything. I know you said that this diet worked for you in the past but you're older now, no offence. Your body will react differently. Don't hate me now :O

lol no hate. neat thing about hcg is your body is getting calories from your fat and the hormone tricks your body so it doesn't think its starting. the month after going off you are supposed to stay at the same weight. no loss or gain more than 2 lbs. my experience is that I still lost being very carful with my diet. your right. I am older now 43. it was about 6 years ago that I did the diet and was able to keep it off for the most part. (about 10lb variance) until this winter. just keeping to my plans. eating clean for the most part. limiting simple carbs. and trying to get in more protein. drinking warm lemon water. over this next month, my metabolism should level out. if not im going to go see a nutritionist. I really messed that up when I was about 19. 120 lbs and thought I was fat.
