This is my first day on FatSecret and I like it so far. I think this will be an effective weight loss tool. :)

Okay... I took the liberty at looking at your food diary. You need to make a lot of changes in your food choices in order to lose weight. You're new on the journey and need to know that you can't be drinking chocolate milk and eating pizza. Perhaps it is a good idea for you to continue eating the way you are and document it for at least a week. Then go back and make adjustments to your food intake, tweak it here and there, add your good carbs... fruit and veggies. Get off processed foods and fast food. It will kill you in the long run. Take the time to research the various eating plans available on this site and on the web. Find one you are willing to live with for the rest of your life in order to maintain your weight once you reach your goal. Good luck.

Thank you all for the support. I lost 17 lbs in July using MyFitnessPal, but the app doesn't work on my phone anymore, so I decided to give this a try. I have had a really rough couple of days and have eaten so much junk food, I'm quite frankly embarrassed. I'm not making excuses, though. I put it in my mouth and ate it, and I logged it. I have really been diligent about incorporating fruits and veggies. I bought a Ninja and I've been using the heck out of it. I appreciate all the words of support, and that was just after one day! I used the other program for a long time and only got feedback once or twice the whole time I used it. I was looking for a website that I could log my food into a journal, and that was all I expected in return. Thank you all for the wonderful support. It is much appreciated. P.S. I was the leader of a local TOPS group for 2 years, but when I stepped down as leader, I began to put pounds on like crazy. June of this year was the heaviest I've ever been, so I decided I needed to get my butt in gear. I am returning to the group as a member next month. I'm hoping the weekly check-ins will help as well. Again, thank you all!
