Doing penance this evening. Sat on edge in our Superior Court for jury selection. Was so pleased that they didn't pick me. Went out to eat w/hubby to celebrate that the rest of the week was free and clear of the judicial system. They summoned me for 2 separate trials, being part of a jury pool. I tried so hard to get excused, but they only postponed it twice instead. It was just putting off the inevitable. Luckily, my husband and I generally split dishes to automatically cut calorie content of specific meals. We also skip the alcohol, excess bread, and soda. I did splurge on one scoop of cold stone creamery in a waffle cone.

My calorie expenditure is over 5,000 calories for today, giving a large net calorie loss anyway.
