Puffball's Journal, 20 March 2011

Lost 1 3/4 lbs in 1st week of Healthy Weight Challenge. Great start!!! I just have to keep up my good work. The hardest part for me is the evening....I seem to become extremely hungry around 6 p.m. and it takes ALL of my willpower not to dig into the doritos, goldfish, etc. that are in the snack cabinet. I can't throw them away since my kids and husband eat the snacks. So I know that I must increase my healthy snacks in the afternoon, on my way home, and even on my way home from soccer/bball practice so that I do not go into a frenzy when I finally make it to the kitchen. I also realize that I cannot leave dinner too late....I did that on Friday and I thought I was going to pass out! So, if my husband and son will be very late coming home then my daughter and I need to go eat dinner by ourselves. Here's to the next 9 weeks of the Healthy Weight Challenge. I am looking forward to losing 10 - 17.5 lbs over this 10 week challenge. I just have to keep my mind and willpower strong!
