I actually managed to get my lazy butt out of bed this morning at 5 and go for a run!! Woot woot!! I tried to talk myself into sleeping in, but I knew it was going to be 90's this afternoon and I wouldn't do it, so I went for my run and I'm so glad I did. It was peaceful, quiet, cool, and just a great run. I didn't set any records with my time or anything, but I still feel good about it.

My kids are leaving this morning for their trip with Grandma and it was hard to tell them good-bye. They are so excited. My son gave me like a hundred hugs this morning, so that made me feel good. They'll be back on Sunday, so now I need to do those things that I have a hard time doing while they're around in the evening, like cleaning and gardening. :)

My hubby works early tonight, so I'll only see him for about an hour before he goes to work and he'll be getting ready most of that time. Then it will just be me and the dogs. What to do, what to do? I'm thinking I'll do some gardening, maybe catch up on a couple of shows on the DVR, play with the dogs in the back yard. Hmmmmm.... What do people do when they don't have kids to keep them entertained? :)

I have no idea what people do when they're alone. Make sure to describe it in perfect detail tomorrow so I can live vicariously through you lol. You're amazing, getting up super early to sneak in a run! I need to take some notes from you lol. Have a wonderful day and enjoy the peace and quiet!!

LOL! Yo, I will let you know how the evening goes. I usually don't get out early, but I found a coaching plan on the Nike+ app that seemed reasonable, so I'm hoping that motivates me to keep getting out.
