Today was my first weigh-in day at fat secret also. The Atkins diet is working well for me. Hunger for sweets is not there...but that doesn't mean I don't desire something sweet, which is my weakness. Found unsweetened vanilla almond milk (1 carb for 1 cup) and a sugar-free, carb-free chocolate syrup. Put that in the freezer til icy cold and that satisfies when I am in need of a sweet. I started 5 weeks and 3 days ago. Today I am at the 20-pounds-gone mark! Most days I lose a little, some days a lot. Every once in a while I gain, but there is usually a logical explanation for that (processed food). Tried the PB Granola Atkins bar at 2 carbs net. Tasted great. But gained that next morning. Some I decided I am not discounting the fiber at this point. Maybe when I reach my goal about 66 pounds from now! My husband has lost 21 in the same time. We weigh on a digital scale every morning at 6am. My sister started a couple weeks before us. She had lost 20, then gained 5, then got back on track and is losing about 1 pound per week. That is the safer, longer lasting way. I am so impatient though. But so far, so good. I wish you the best. Think positive.
