frustrated.......I have gained weight...and need to adjust my calories obviously...I will need to count daily...and not go over 1200 max ..target 1000. Adjusting workouts as well to include full body movements in between weight sets, today worked out for over an hour and completed all the additional full body movements. I was in a lot of pain walking home ..my Achilles tendons caused me a lot of aggravation even though it was taped . I will continue on a daily basis and counting calories and making notes and will stay positive that I can do this.

if you're only eating 1000 to 1200 calories I would recommend eating a lot of dark green leafy vegetables like kale and spinach. Cruciferous vegetables like brocolli, and some green, red, and yellow peppers are good as well.

Thank you for the support...I know...but I am conflicted as I have been listening to a Nature-path Dr Gliddon on his online radio show. There was a webinar on thyroid conditions (mine is supposedly hypo) and he said NOT to eat cruciferous veg...if you are hyper you need to eat more. The conflict on this topic is I pretty much lived on Brocolli when I was dieting for my first and only body building competition. With that said my hypo thyroidism was diagnosed by my general practitioner and he thinks they are quacks..lol ...soooo....do I go back to what worked before ...I'm leaning towards YES :D

I haven't heard anything about broccoli relating to hypothyroidism. Even so, you could always eat other cruciferous vegetables.
