Saturday July 26-Weekend is here. I started out with a Mim. It is very filling. I made it half and half with flax meal and soy flour. It has lots of fiber and I cut it into 5 slices and butter them liberally. We are having a dry spell and I have been watering my plants early in the morning. Every living thing needs lots of hydration. So remember to drink you daily allotment of water. I had some fresh cantaloupe for lunch yesterday and it was very refreshing. It was a huge musk melon. I bet the thing weighs 10 lbs or more. The portion I had weighed 1.5 lbs and I thought that was a small portion. I measured out to be 15 net carbs, but it was worth it.

I still haven't made the MIM yet. Have to do that some time! Melon is great in the summer. We buy a really small watermelon because everyone is watching their weight and eating a small serving, which means we might not finish a large one and it would go bad.
