Ruhu's Journal, 23 July 2014

I hit the trifecta of good health again -- eating, sleeping & feeling well! I know when i eat well, I sleep better, and I think the exhaustion each night after full, full days is helping too. Regardless, a good nights sleep again feels great! I even played tennis better yesterday having rested well… so, hoping it continues. And, of course, the well rested feeling makes dealing with the stress of the upcoming party and DS's leaving so much easier and manageable. Praying, breathing, meditating & journaling certainly help there too!

I'm off to spin class and errands after, then house cleanup and a manicure this afternoon. Yesterday, i got all the bookkeeping done that has to be before the party and will finish the rest after. DH has quite a mess in our office, which in my mind has to go, so ready or not, today is the day. Today, too, is another day to begin in prayer --

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

And through this one day and each one meal, moment, bite, thought & emotion, I'll pray, breathe, journal & express my way. I'm so very grateful for each of awesome you, my family & IRL friends, the good feeling that a good nights sleep brings and having the health & wealth to live this life I love! xoxox

Congratulations on the trifecta! I'm 2/1 - eating and feeling well but not so much good sleep. Massage day so I'll surely sleep well tonight.
