I'm pretty sure the scale is broken. There is no way I lost weight. There can't be. It seems like I'm constantly eating these days. I think the main reason I haven't gained in so long is because the kid had a foot pressed up against my stomach. Now that he's moved... I can't stop eating. Granted.. I graze like a cow. A little here or there. I was up to 1500 calories yesterday and that didn't include the things I couldn't remember putting in my mouth.. or the random chip or twizzler that ended up in my hand thanks to little man. How did I lose weight?!?! According to the baby tracker this kid is gaining an oz a day. Maybe I can talk him into taking some butt fat or the arm jiggle.

Since I discovered I'd lost weight since last week I decided a big breakfast was in order because well.. that's the way my mind works. lol This is probably why I've yet to get under 150 when I'm not pregnant. Maybe I should just avoid scales from now on and tell the family to keep swapping my pants for smaller sizes and don't tell me. Then I could avoid the whole mind set of OOOOOh lost weight?!?! Fatty breakfast please! Yup.. straight jacket coming soon.

For pregnant women doctors recommend they eat the calories needed to maintain their weight plus 500 calories for the baby. So as you see you can eat a lot and still not gain weight. Congratulations on the baby :-)

Your scale is not broken, you are just changing your lifestyle habits and it is starting to show. Plus you have a growing baby in your tummy. Fantastic news on the loss. :)

Yep.. that scale can be a complete mind-pound-sign can't it? If I lose, I think I should eat more; if I gain, I stop eating. I like the pants switch idea.

I always enjoy a good breakfast too, so much that sometimes it's supper! And to boot my mom has discovered a new way of doing eggs and bacon. First take a couple of strips of bacon and cut them up into pieces. Throw bacon pieces into frying pan, cook and then when they are almost done, add 2 eggs on top. Cook until desired egg doneness. We then serve on toast with a slice of cheddar cheese and tomato slices. Really good!

Thanks guys, now I want breakfast for lunch! aggie95 I am going to have to try that recipe. It sounds delicious. Great job on the loss! At least they don't have straight jackets designed for pregnant women, so I think you are safe. Lol!

Nothing wrong with a loss when your pregnant. Just less to lose later! I love breakfast foods too so I understand 100%
