Adding St. John's Wort and 5-HTP as a supplement starting last night. Bad day yesterday. My hormones make me cray cray. Couple that with a high weigh in and bad financial news: no amount of rational, logical thinking could bring my sense of self-worth back into line with normal, functional people. Feel better today. Made it through the entire work day without snacking on junk. And, by junk, I mean M&Ms mostly. Hoping these herbal supplements work to keep me level-headed. I also added a multi-vitamin. Noticed I have been craving chocolate so I suspected that I might need some extra magnesium. Hoping the added B12 and B6 also improve my energy. Let's try the naturopathic way rather than the homicidal way. I'm kidding, of course. There will be no killing around here. Back to business.

I take Mood Boost. It's all-natural. It's for stress and anxiety. It makes me feel calmer. I hear ya about the hormones. I've been feeling like a crazy lady lately with recently going off my BC. I hope you start feeling better soon. I recently looked into the "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" books. I sampled the one for relationships and it's really good. The sample alone has helped me, so I plan on purchasing the book. Not sure if you have relationship issues, but that's when my "crazy lady" persona comes out. There are other types of books in the series that you might find interest you. Speaking of vitamins, I take lots of those too. I get most of my supplements from "It Works." They're all-natural and high-quality. I'm cheap - I like to pay as little as possible for stuff - and these supplements are worth the money, because they're effective. I've found that store-bought supplements are not. Good luck!

Thanks, Christy. I will look into both of those.

You're welcome. Just sharing what works for me in case it might help you. But usually people have to walk their own path. Good luck with whatever you do! I hope things improve.

I'm sure things will improve for you. I know life can be a little challenging at times, but just remember when you're at the bottom it's great cause things only get better from there on in. A very simple thing a friend told me to do is, at the end of every day think of three good things to be thankful for, even if that thing is "things didn't get worse" or "I ate chocolate, but not the big bar" it's quite nice to spend 2 mins to find a few positives, try it and keep smiling
