Last night, my husband and I walked for 30 minutes. His pedometer said 2.4 miles. I believe more like 1.2 miles. (my body didn't feel like we had walked 2.4 miles) Mainly level ground. Both sweaty for sure...southern evenings. I came home and did 20 minutes of yoga, and then about 30 minutes of housework. He did laundry. LOL.

Decided to increase my protein last night - had 2 scoops of whey protein powder with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and blackberries -- blended together it tasted like ice cream! (The blackberries were frozen.) What a yummy treat.

*Seems that with 3 thought-out planned meals, that I'm doing better. Not snacking as much. It's when we eat out that things seem to go scattered. What is in the restaurant food that is not in the food that I prepare?

I volunteer tonight - which means mainly laundry, some dog walking, some dog cuddling. I haven't been there in about a month. Honestly, I only go to see Virgo, the dog. When the day comes she is adopted, I probably will reduce my time to once a month. I've already done my required time anyway.

Sounds like you got some good exercise in yesterday. That protein smoothie sounds good, I love it when they're creamy. Whenever we go out to eat it seems like I'm never really full, or I'm full but then I just want more junk anyway. Homemade meals are definitely better. Have fun with the dogs tonight!!
