The last two or three weeks have been a nightmare due to my health. I'm currently on crutches and unable to weight bare at all, so no exercise for me! The other problem I'm having is that I'm not preparing the food and the choice has been pretty limited as family are serving me food and bringing me gifts which they are offended if i don't eat. I have no idea what i weigh because I can't stand on the scales.
Before this I had a tooth extracted which broke off and got infected so i struggled to eat anything at all for over a week. I spent two days in bed on morphine early in the week hardy eating anything too so I'm not sure the effect this has had on the scales.
I am going to regain some control over my food from today as it looks like I will be sat in a chair non weight baring for a while. I do have to admit though that my nutrition will not be what I would like for a while, though I could try and suggest healthier alternatives to those cooking for me.
I'm going to look up some weight exercises later that I can do with my dumbbells in the chair, I have o be careful not to over do it with this though as I need my arms to move myself up and down stairs and for the crutches which is exhausting.

If you don't mind me asking how old are you and what happened? You should tell the people who are taking care of you to make you chicken, bring veggies, fruits and cottage cheese. You can't get fat with that. Now that you can't move much you shouldn't eat a lot of calories and sat your fat secret account to bed ridden when they ask how active you are. Once you get healthy you will slowly get your muscles back, you don't need to exercise now and risk further injury. Get well soon :-)

There are books and videos on Amazon etc for chair exercises which I have purchased for myself. Any movement is better than sitting still so I am told. I wish I could run and walk but sadly I cannot any more so have to work within my limitations. Good Luck.
