my goal this week was not to eat sugar (dark chocolate). last night i cheated and ate coconut ice cream (gasp). i figured i worked out and wanted a treat. i did feel guilty but just need to get over it. overall i've been doing great and haven't had dark chocolate or tortilla chips.

Argh...what is it with the guilt we feel when we indulge a little bit? I hate it. I mean we probably do great 80% of the time (or more) so why do we think we need to be perfect?

I don't think feeling guilty is productive in anything and a complete waste of time. just move on, it's not a big deal and not worth your time. Your treat will probably help you stay on course.

This makes me feel better. I am trying hard to keep moving today. I dance a little bit, swim some and water exercise . I tried to Hoola Hoop, not for me. I did get exercise bending up and down to pick it up from the floor.

@madanjen Dr. Oz is nuts; take his advice with a grain of salt. : ) Dark chocolate is good for you but not if you're eating all the time. @hcb - i agree with the guilt. and i appreciate your comment about needing to be perfect. I think for me i am just trying to quit sugar so i feel like i failed. oh well. @nowiunderstand@draglist - i agree about guilt. it's indulging but not over indulging. again, just trying to quit sugar. once i eat it so hard not to eat it. : ) thanks for the comments!
