Wow, I haven't been on here and journaled for a week! Needless to say I'm not doing well, it seems like any time I leave the site for a while I start slipping. I was hit hard with TOM last week and this week have had a horrible summer cold. Now I'm starting to feel better so it's time to get back to it.

I did my 5K last Friday and did it at a slow 35 mins, but I crossed the finish line and didn't walk, so I'm happy with that. My goal was to run the whole thing and I did it. Then I didn't do a workout until Tuesday. I was feeling horrible through the weekend and then just exhausted after work on Monday, so I took a few days of break. Now I'm trying to get back to it, but the cold is hanging on and making the workouts harder.

My eating has been TERRIBLE! I was having horrible chocolate cravings last week and unfortunately gave into them, and they've hung on into this week, so I'm trying to get a grip on my eating. I've been hungry for bland foods other than chocolate this week, but I want to just munch all the time. I have to get myself back on my schedule and in to the routine again, but it's hard after a couple of weeks of bad eating. Every day I wake up is a chance to do better, so I just have to keep working at it. Hopefully I can get back on track in the next couple of weeks.

When you have cravings for chocolate try eating a lot of fruits, after that much sugar I don't want anything sweet anymore. Also, drinking a cappuccino calms me down because it has sugar in it.
