1.5 years for my 50. Slow is good. Tracking helps to keep ones attention.

It's not how long it takes it's the losing that matters. Do a happy dance. You deserve an extra one.

Sitting here making out my menu for tomorrow and trying to stay at 100 carbs for the day ,but I only have 744 calories and I don't think that is enough. I want to do at least 1200 a day. My Dr. told me I have to lose at least 100 pounds in order to get rid of my fatty liver, but at my age I don't think that will be my goal. I would like to lose about 70 pounds.

I think you're thinking is wise about the weight loss. You'll know what's right for you and he'll be thrilled with what you accomplished. I'll never get down to 135. I'm at 165 and feeling good and my doc is thrilled with the loss. I've gone into maintenance. Yeah, up the calories, lower the carbs. What are you doing for protein?
