LMJ114's Journal, 09 July 2014

While I am not going to record my weight except weekly... I did have another minor drop on the scale this morning. My workout today was a bit shorter than it should have been; I ran out of time. Which is unfortunate for many reasons - including that the 1/2 marathon is only 32 days away. I can't afford to shorten/skip many workouts and hope to still do "ok".

Still motivated. And I can't wait to record a good drop in weight on Monday!

That time thing gets in the way! I was just thinking this morning that there are new habits that have to take place in my life...and not time permitting. They just have to happen. So after 6:30 mass this morning I steered myself over to the track and 1/2 walked...okay 3/4 walked and 1/4 jogged. Even got a rosary in and felt like a million. I stole time from someplace else! I can't imagine what I would do if my goals were a 1/2 marathon!! I am still at the walk/run, walk/run stage!

What a good way to fit exercise into your crowded schedule! Proud of you!

Okay didn't walk the walk today around the track...yet! I did take a peek and lost a bit. I forgot what a slow go this is. Slow and steady! Your exercise is such a great lure for me. I want to belong to that club!

I love the exercise... and dread it. I have a 10 mile run scheduled for Saturday. Already starting to feel the pressure of it looming in my future. But know that when I finish it, I'll be that much closer to being back to "me". You'd think after running full marathons, no matter that it has been a couple years, that I wouldn't freak out on something barely more than a third in length... sigh. Your exercising, especially as I know your schedule, is motivating me, too. Keep it up!!!!
