My weight loss may seem fantastic but with the low carb program one tends to lose a lot of water weight in the first week. I feel great and the arthritis in my back has eased. Even though consumption of grains is implicated in arthritis, I wasn't sure if giving them up would help - especially so quickly. I'm stoked!
182.8 lb Lost so far: 5.2 lb.    Still to go: 27.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I know I'm gonna sound odd but water or fats, weight loss is weight loss. I lost around 9lbs when I first did Atkins. No matter what I lost, my jeans were looser, my bra was looser, people NOTICED and they didn't know I was on a diet. Loss is loss, don't discount your success.

I will take a loss anyway I can get it. Water, fat you name it if my scale and measuring tape is going down I don't care what it is...
