191 lbs this morning ... on the way back down - just like I expected so this is very cool. What an interesting journey this has turned out to be! I have always had a front seat in the story of my life but I have to tell you, I have not always been this engaged. When you are engaged, when you pay attention, when you take up "your space", you learn so much about you! The great thing, no .. the very best thing, is that you don't find yourself repeating the old patterns that don't work. You don't get to fool yourself because you know the truth and it cannot be denied! When you make that decision that you want to change ... and not just "a" decision ... I mean an iron clad commitment to yourself, then you pay attention and you make better choices. I am not talking about perfection folks ... because I haven't been perfect in this journey and I won't be perfect moving forward either ... I am talking about being mindful of what you are doing and understanding the consequences (and how you will deal with the good or bad impact). When you are mindfully aware of what is going on in your life, it's amazing how much simpler life gets. Not just in terms of eating ... but in all facets of your life. I thought when I started this back in October that I was going to lose weight (and I have)... I thought my aim was that simple. In fact, I have reclaimed my life and gained so much more than I have lost! Today is the first day of the rest of my life!

Very well written, Yes you certainly have to be ready and committed in a journey like this, and most importantly is time for yourself, it's not easy but as you gradually begin to see what is happening to your body, mind, and outlook on life itself you say " WOW" what a good feeling and only then will you feel whole again....Good luck, your on the right track! :D
