Just got back home and thought I'd report quickly how my weekend of eating out went. I think I did okay!! I was tempted a few times to pick the high fat cheesy foods (fiesta potatoes and quesadilla at Taco Bell!!) but I didn't cave. I entered estimates of what I ate ... I know it isn't perfect but it is close I believe. Yesterday we stopped early at Taco Bell and I had 2 steak tacos fresco and couple of sips of my husbands soda. I avoid aspartame so diet sodas out at not an option ... only a few use splenda and most of the places out don't offer that option. We went out to our favorite Mexican restaurant last night and I had Mariscos Mexicanos which is shrimp (not deep fried) in a yummy red sauce with carrots, mushrooms, celery, onion, and bell pepper. I only ate one bite of the beans and a couple small bites of the rice, 2 corn tortillas and didn't even finish the shrimp dish because I was full. Of course I did have 2 margaritas ... and later a Corona light at a bar we went too ... but I planned that. I haven't had an alcoholic beverage in quite some time ... and I wanted to!!! T

This morning at breakfast I chose steak and eggs ... 8 oz of steak, 2 poached eggs, and ate 1/2 slice of toast. I had one bite of the potatoes and left the rest on the plate. We were in a class all day ... so we only had a little bit of time for lunch and went to Del Taco. I had no idea of the nutritional values there but I chose 2 steak tacos al carbon ... learning when I got home that was 440 calories.

So ... I'm feeling like I did okay. I added up estimates of the calories and it looks like I did quite well. I'll get on the scale in the morning ... hopefully I won't see much of a change but if I do ... it's okay ... I had a GREAT time out with my husband!!! I hope everyone else is doing well ... one step at a time!!!
