I am so off track! Having trouble finding the way back.
187.0 lb Lost so far: 5.8 lb.    Still to go: 67.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
on diet Weight Watchers   steady weight

I started by just recording what I'm eating. I'm not really dieting, but I find that as I am tracking and realizing what I'm eating, it's giving me pause and helping me to make better choices. I'm not getting huge results this way but its totally moving me in a better direction.

i'm with jj. i started out just tracking and not really dieting. it made me much more conscious of my decisions. i was resistant to tracking, but a friend lost a bunch of weight 10 years ago, has kept it off, and continues to track every day. i find it much easier to track on fs than on ww. i definitely can't just track in my head because i totally forget things.

Ditto :) I just got back from housesitting. Weighed in yesterday and thought the scale was off! Oi vey! Got an attitude adjustment Friday (haircut - cut 10" off!), so I'm gearing up to hit the "track" :). Just mowed the lawn too. You can do it Karbear45. I also did the above suggestions just tracking and becoming aware of what and WHEN we eat is amazing. No more snacks for me after 7pm. :) (for a while :).

Just start somewhere - anywhere. Doesn't matter where. Start with logging your food and you will find your way back. We're all here waiting for you!

You can do this! I agree with the others. Just record daily and eventually you will start to go into auto mode being more mindful of what you are eating.
